REASI, Feb 14: The police arrested a drug-peddler and recovered a consignment of intoxicants from his possession in Katra area today
Official sources said that at around 6.30 pm today, Incharge Police Check Post Searly, during routine checking/frisking stopped one person for checking who was coming from Panthal side and was proceeding towards Katra.
During checking Police party recovered 400 intoxicating tablets of Alprazolam and 230 capsules of Tramadol from one Rishav Sharma, son of Girdhari Lal of Chhurta, Jajjar Kotli, Tehsil Dhansal, district Jammu. In this regard a case FIR No. 30/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at Katra Police Station.
