KATRA, Dec 30: Katra Police arrested a drug peddler and seized banned Alprazolam tablets as well as Charas from his possession.
Police party, led by SHO Katra Kuldeep Krishan, under the supervision SDPO Dr Ashok Sharma, laid a special naka near Guru Nanak Parking at Katra. During checking /frisking, the Police recovered 730 tablets of Alprazolam banned drug and 100 gms Charas from the possession of one drugs peddler namely Mohd Arif of Batote, working as an employee at Shanker Palace Katra.
The accused person was arrested and a case FIR No. 209/2015 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in this connection at Police Station Katra.
