JAMMU, June 28: Principal Sessions Judge Ramban Kishore Kumar has rejected the bail application of one Iqbal Qasim, son of Qasim Bhai of Gujrat, who has been booked under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
After hearing Senior PO Jaswant Raj for the State, the court observed, “police has prima facie proved that the accused was in possession of charas weighing one kilograms to sell the same to the younger generation on higher prices and make the youth addict of narcotics”.
“The sale of charas is very dangerous to the society and a cancer to the young lot of society and spoiled many families. In other way the accused is prima facie found to have been involved in the commission of offence under Session 8/20 NDPS Act”, the court further said while rejecting the bail application.
