JAMMU, Nov 27: Sidhra police arrested a drug peddler along with 45 grams heroin and Rs 9.42 lakh cash.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Sidhra led by SI Ayub Khan laid a naka near Bajalta Morh and intercepted a vehicle.
During checking, police team recovered 45 grams heroin and Rs 9.42 lakh cash from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Sahil Malik, son of Mohammad Muneer Malik, a resident of New Plot, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 431/2020 under section 8/21/22/27-A NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment and other persons involved in this illegal trade.
