JAMMU, Apr 20: Talab Tillo police arrested a drug peddler along with 5 grams heroin.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Post Talab Tillo led by Inspector Kali Charan laid a naka at Tirath Nagar and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 5 grams heroin from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Chander Kant, son of Santosh Kumar, a resident of Talab Tillo District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 76/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation initiated.
The arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Deepak Jasrotia and DySP Headquarters Jammu Swati Sharma.
