Drug peddler arrested with ganja

JAMMU, Sept 26: Narwal Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered ganja from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Narwal led by SI Lalit Kumar laid a naka under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali and SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 1.1 kilograms of ganja from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Ravinder, son of Shiv Nath of Bantalab District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 248/2022 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
