JAMMU, Mar 4: Domana Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma and assisted by PSI Danish Qaiser laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02CP-4738.
During checking, police team recovered cannabis wrapped in 15 maize covers from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Ajay Kumar, son of Mohan Lal, a resident of Sangrampur, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 74/2022 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
The arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sunil Singh.
