Drug peddler arrested with cannabis

JAMMU, Feb 14: Banihal police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 700 grams cannabis from the possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Banihal Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 700 grams cannabis from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Faisal Ashraf, son of Mohammad Ashraf Zargar, a resident of Bijbehara, District Anantnag.
A case under FIR Number 23/2020 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Banihal Police Station and investigation started.
