SAMBA, Dec 26: Police arrested one drug peddler and recovered 100 banned capsules from his possession at Gagore area of Vijaypur in district Samba today.
According to the police, as per reliable information a team of District Special Branch (DSB) Vijaypur and Ramgarh jointly apprehended one person from Gagore area of Vijaypur.
During his frisking police recovered hundred banned capsules from the possession of one Ramesh Kumar, son of Rattan Chand, resident of Kolpur. The accused person was arrested on spot along with contraband items.
Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
