JAMMU, May 30: Janipur police under Operation Sanjeevani arrested a drug peddler along with intoxicants.
As per police spokesman, a team from police station Janipur during checking at Top Paloura arrested a drug peddler along with 69 intoxicant capsules and 264 capsules.
The accused has been identified as Pawan Kumar alias Pamma, son of Kasturi Lal, a resident of Talab Khatika, at present Rehari Colony.
A case under FIR Number 37/17 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against the accused at police station Janipur and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Janipur Inspector Verinder Gupta made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Jammu Sugandha Mahajan and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
