UDHAMPUR, Sept 14: Continuing its offensive to contain the spread of narcotic drugs & psychotropic substances, Udhampur police today arrested a drug peddler at Tikri and recovered 15 gms of Heroin from his possession.
The arrested accused was identified as Kewal Krishan alias Billa, son of Channu Ram of Housing Colony, Udhampur.
He was apprehended by a Police party, led by Insp Nishant Gupta, SHO PS Rehambal and assisted by Insp Jaswinder Singh, IC PP Tikri, during patrolling near Kali Mata Mandir, Tikri.
In this connection, a case FIR number 201/2021, under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Rehambal and further investigation is underway.
