JAMMU, May 17: Bagh-e-Bahu police arrested a drug peddler along with heroin.
As per police sources, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu police station laid a naka near Narwal and apprehended a person along with 2 grams heroin.
The accused has been identified as Zahoor Ahmed Sheikh, son of Abdul Rashid of Sonerpura Kupwara.
A case under FIR Number 52/17 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at police station Bagh-e-Bahu and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
The arrest was made by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu SI Bimal Indu under the supervision of SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP Headquarters Jammu Romesh Kotwal.
