RAMBAN, Mar 24: Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 500 grams of cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Ramban Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 500 grams of cannabis from his possession and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Balbeer Singh, son of Lal Chand, a resident of Bajmasta.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Ramban Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Rajeshwar Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Tusiff Ahmed, Additional SP Ramba Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary and SSP Ramban Mohan Lal.
