DODA, Jan 27: Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a joint team from Gandoh Police Station and Kahara Police Post apprehended a drug peddler and recovered 250 grams of cannabis from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as Sajad Hussain, son of Shah Din Mir, a resident of Bitolla, Gandoh.
A case under FIR Number 11/18 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Gandoh Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gandoh Inspector Anayat Hussain and assisted by Incharge Kahara Police Post SI Amrit Katoch made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Gandoh Sunny Gupta and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
