UDHAMPUR, Nov 15: Udhampur Police arrested one drug peddler and recovered five grams of heroin from his possession.
The accused was intercepted during naka checking at Tikri near Lehnoo area. Police party of Police Post Tikri, led by PSI Abdul Satar and assisted by Inspector Rajesh Sharma, SHO PS Rehambal apprehended the accused, who was identified as Ansar Ahmed, son of Ghulam Nabi of Chak Rakwalan.
Police recovered five grams of heroin from him following which he was arrested on the spot. In this regard, case FIR number 267/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS Rehambal.
