SRINAGAR, Feb 7: Police today arrested a drug peddler in Srinagar and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A police spokesman said that after acting on an information, a naka was laid by a police party of Police Station Ram Munshi Bagh headed by SHO Mohammad Issac.
“During the checking, one person identified as Mukesh Kumar was intercepted and one Kilogram of charas concealed in his jacket was recovered,” he said. “A case with FIR number 09/2018 under section 8/20 NDPS was registered and investigation was taken up,” he added.
