SAMBA, June 9: A drug peddler was today arrested by Rakh Amb Talli Police in Samba district and 200 capsules of SPM Proxivan were recovered from his possession during frisking by the police.
The Rakh Amb Tali Police Post led by S I, Deepak Barti laid a naka today under the supervision of Dy SP Headquarters Samba and during the checking it saw one person namely Ashwani Kumar S/O Dharam Singh R/O Kolpur Tehsil Vijaypur District Samba moving suspiciously. The police team caught hold of him and during his frisking recovered 200 capsules of Proxivan SPM from his possession.
In this regard case Fir no 120/17 U/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act and 18/27 DCA has been registered against him and Investigation is in progress. Samba Police has intensified its drive against the drug menace in the district under the directives of SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
