KATRA, May 8: A drug- paddler was arrested on Railway Road here today.
Acting on a specific inputs, a police team led by Inspector Sanjeev Sharma, SHO, Katra laid a naka at Railway Road and during frisking, the police team succeeded in recovery of 19 pouches of Polythene containing Ganja ( weighing 85 gms) from the possession of Sohan Lal, son of Shyam Lal, resident of Sukhetar, Domail, in district Jammu. He was on way towards Katra town from Railway Station on foot. The accused was arrested and consignment was seized.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 70/2016 Under Section 8/20 NDPS Act, stands registered at Police Station, Katra.
