RAJOURI, June 14: The dead body of 32-year-old man who was drowned in a nallah at Dalogra village near Rajouri was recovered this morning.
A police spokesman said that police divers and some locals continued search operation for about four hours yesterday but could not succeed till late evening. Today again, the operation was resumed and the divers managed to fish out the body of Dalbir Kant, son of Krishan Lal, resident of Dangri, from the deep still water (Dabar) of the nallah at around 7 am. It had got trapped under a rock in water.
The body was shifted to district hospital and then handed over to the family after completion of legal formalities. The youth was working as engineer in a company at Delhi and had come to his home at Dangri along with his family on leave. The family had come to the temple of their Kuldevi at Dalogra and youth went for bathing and slipped into the deep water of the nallah and drowned on Saturday afternoon.
