UDHAMPUR, Sept 28: Driver of a Dumper was killed when the vehicle rolled down into a deep gorge and caught fire at village Tringuli in Ramnagar.
The deceased was identified as Gulshan, son of Kartar Chand, resident of village Mali in Udhampur, Ramnagar.
The accident took place when the Dumber, bearing registration number JK14H-5736, went out of control due to bad condition of the road and slipped down about 100 meters deep in a gorge and caught fire also.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured driver to Sub District Hospital Basantgarh where doctors declared him as brought dead.
