MANDI, Oct 13: The driver of a private vehicle (WagonR) sustained serious injuries when his vehicle fell into a deep gorge near Kallar Plera, in Tehsil Mandi of Poonch district today.
Official sources said that the accident occurred when a private car No. JK12A/ 2655, rolled down into a 100-feet deep gorge near Plera. The driver, Shakeel Ahmed, son of Muhammed Latief Khan, residence of Plera sustained injuries. The injured driver was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Mandi. He was provided preliminary treatment by medical staff there and then referred to DH, Poonch. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
