RAJOURI, Mar 14: The police today arrested a Tata Sumo driver for overloading his vehicles with passengers.
A team of police headed by SHO Rajouri, Ajaz Haider during routine patrolling in Kotdhara area noticed Tata Sumo No. JK11A-2186 over loaded with passengers. It was on way to Kotedhara from Rajouri.
Six passengers were overloaded and one was also sitting on roof of vehicle. This act of the driver was endangering the lives of passengers. The vehicle was seized on the spot and driver of the vehicle arrested. A case FIR No 112/2019 under Sections 279/336 RPC has been registered at Rajouri Police Station in this connection.
