JAMMU, June 18: Shiv Sadhna- a Non Government Organisation (NGO) organised a dress designing program for ladies/girls at Panchayat Bhardal Khurd in Akhnoor, here today.
The event was inaugurated by Jagdish Bhagat, BJP Tehsil president along with Bishan Dass, president SC Morcha Akhnoor wherein about 50 girls/ladies from the far flung areas of the Panchayat are taking part in the three months long designing programme.
The dress designing programme is being organised under the guidance of Suman Sharma, president of Shiv Sadhna (NGO). The sewing machines as well as other designing/tailoring raw materials were also provided to ladies/girls by the NGO which can be utilised during the training programme.
The step of the NGO was appreciated by the people of adjoining villages also for skill development of ladies/girls in Akhnoor area in collaboration with BJP Akhnoor unit.
