KATHUA, Jan 20: A draftsman was attacked by five motorcycle borne youth in Ward No 4 here when he was returning from Ultrasound Clinic run by his wife to his home last night.
The draftsman identified as Naresh Kumar, S/o Shambo Nath of Ward No. 4 Kathua received grievous injuries.
He was admitted to District Hospital Kathua where from doctors referred him to GMC Jammu but instead of GMC the family took him to Amandeep Hospital Pathankot for treatment.
Kathua Police has taken the cognizance of the case and rounded up some people for questioning. The police is also investigating the motive behind the attack.
Reports said that five youth came on three motorcycles and attacked the draftsman inflicting serious injuries on his person.
He was shifted to Hospital by the Mohalla people.
