JAMMU, Dec 26: Dr Sikander Pal Choudhary, Senior Assistant Professor and a Plant Physiologist in the
Plant Physiology Lab, Department of Botany, University of Jammu, was awarded second Best Oral Presentation Award during recently held two-day National Seminar on “Abiotic Stress Management-Challenges and Opportunities”
He was awarded second among 400 delegates, who participated in the event, jointly organized by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore and Indian Council of Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR).
It is worth mentioning here that Dr Choudhary has been earlier awarded with most prestigious Science Fellowships such as Marie Curie Fellowship- at INRA, France; CAS Fellowship, Zhejiang University, China and as a joint project fellowship for Israel-China Government, Ben-Gurion University, Israel.
