JAMMU, Apr 16: President Municipal Committee (MC) Bhaderwah Dr Shahid Moghal has appealed to the Lieutenant Governor GC Murmu for providing transport facilities to the people of District Doda particularly Bhaderwah residents, who are stranded at different localities in Jammu.
Most of the families from Bhaderwah migrate to Jammu in winter months due to cold weather conditions or for some medical treatment and used to return to their hometown by the end of March every year, he said, adding that due to lockdown they could not move back to their hometown. Old and infirm family members are facing lot of difficulties due to lockdown situation in Jammu, he added.
He stated that Ramadan is going to start and there are no proper arrangements for the stranded people of Bhaderwah.
He appealed to the administration to facilitate the return of the people hailing from Bhaderwah to their hometown before Ramadan begins.
