JAMMU, May 1: Dr Sanjay Bhasin, Professor and Unit Head in Post Graduate Department of Surgery, Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, is new Head of Department of Surgery.
Dr Bhasin took over the charge from Dr Nasib Chand Digra, who has been appointed as Principal and Dean, GMC Jammu. Dr Sanjay Bhasin is Life Member of prestigious surgical academic bodies like ASI, AMASI, SELSI and JAKASI.
He is also Editorial Board Member of International Surgery Journal since 2013. In addition, he is honorary secretary of JK Chapter of Surgeons of India.
