JAMMU, Apr 30: Dr Pragya Khanna, Associate Professor in Zoology, Government College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu, has been awarded ‘Excellence Award in Zoology-2016’ in recognition to her consistent superior performance in the field.
The award was presented to her by the ‘The International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation’ at their `53rd International Conference on Recent Trends in Agriculture, Environmental & Biosciences-2017′, recently held at Chandigarh.
Dr Pragya was invited at the conference to deliver a Plenary Talk on ‘Water quality, pollutant sources and genotoxic impacts’. She also chaired a special scientific session and interacted with the young presenters at the conference. The conference offered a consummate venue for renewing the professional relationships, networking and for remaining up-to date with variations in the challenging and expanding discipline of Environmental Sciences.
