Dr Prabhakar appointed Member of IEASA

JAMMU, July 4: Dr Prabhakar has been appointed as a member of the Indian Economic and Allied Sciences Association (IEASA), which focuses on identifying key economic issues and suggesting practical solutions.
Dr Prabhakar, a Ph.D. in Economics, has served as a National Level Monitor in the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
He was also re-employed by the Jammu and Kashmir Government as a consultant for monitoring the National Rural Livelihood Mission.
A retired civil servant, Dr Prabhakar brings rich experience to the association.
IEASA is currently led by Dr B S Sharma and Prof Sunita Gupta as Joint Secretaries, while Prof Alok Kumar functions as the Secretary.
The association is planning a conference with stakeholders to prepare a blueprint for Viksit Bharat.
It also works actively to encourage young scholars to take up action-oriented research and contribute at the grassroots level.
