Srinagar, Apr 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday assigned additional responsibilities to Dr Piyush Singla, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department, in the interest of administration.
According to Government Order No. 806-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated April 18, Dr Singla, who is already holding additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Public Grievances Department, shall now also hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, Transport Department and Hospitality & Protocol Department.
The order states that he will discharge these additional duties alongside his existing responsibilities till Ms Avny Lavasa, IAS, resumes her duties.
