Dr Pandita delivers lecture on foreign funding, crypto currency

UDHAMPUR, Sept 9: Dr Daleep Pandita former Regional Manager for Northern India of Government of India undertaking, The New India Assurance Company, and a well known scholar today delivered a comprehensive lecture through power point presentation, at Udhampur campus of Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) on the role of crypto currency and money laundering for foreign funding in abating terrorist activities in India with special reference to Non Government Organisations (NGOs) operating in Jammu and Kashmir.
Based on his international exposure Pandita deliberated upon the modus operandi used by illegal promoters in disturbing security, safety and stability of the region. He explained in depth how these unlawful operations are being carried out by misusing financial transitions using new method of crypto currency resulting in to various economic crimes, to about 25 G O level participant during two week vertical interaction course to Gazetted officers of Jammu and Kashmir Police Department currently going on at SKPA.
Role of banking and non banking financial institutions in checking money laundering that is used in abating terrorist activities in J&K due to unauthorized financial transitions, was discussed in details in order to evolve comprehensive strategy in dealing this counter insurgency in J & K remained the main focus of Dr. Pandita’s lecture.
His detailed talk on this important topic covering misuse of crypto currency being used in destabilizing peace in checking growing menace of terrorism sponsored across the border by tackling through counter insurgency methods, was highly appreciated by the participants of this workshop.
