JAMMU, July 11 : Speaker, State Legislative Assembly, Dr Nirmal Singh has stressed on the additional district administration at Bhadarwah to complete all the pending developmental works especially that of roads, for the early redressal of the grievances of the public residing in this hilly area.
”These road projects are taken up to provide not only all weather connectivity but also all the basic amenities to reach to the rural population at their doorsteps but without proper infrastructure especially roads, institutions and schemes aimed for the rural population cannot serve the desired purpose” Speaker asserted.
Dr Nirmal Singh was on a day long tour of Bhadarwah where the Speaker chaired an officers and head of departments meeting in presence of different delegations at Dak Bungalow here.
The meeting was attended by ADC, Dr Ravi Kumar Bharti, SP Bhadarwah, Raj Singh Gouria, Executive Engineer, R&B Bashir Ahmed Khanday, district president, BJP advocate, Manjeet Razdan beside BJP functionaries and other officers.
While reviewing the annual performance of the different departments, Dr. Singh asked the concerned authorities to put in their sincere and dedicated efforts to complete the pending projects and provide best services to common people, as masses are made to suffer due to the callous attitude of the authorities. Various issues were discussed in the meeting especially upgrading of the infrastructure to make all the vital facilities functional in Bhadarwah Valley.
Later, Dr Singh also held the meeting with BJP party workers and stressed upon them to actively participate in the ongoing membership drive launched by the party throughout the country to spread the base of the party.
The meeting was addressed by president BJP unit Doda Advocate Manjeet Razdan who also requested the party workers to reach at booth level for membership and also take more workers in party fold.
