Dr Jitendra accuses Kashmir mainstream parties of being apologetical to Pak

JAMMU, Jan 30: Lambasting separatists for always taking direction from across the border, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh today alleged that the so called mainstream political parties in Kashmir were also apologetical to Pakistan for the reasons best known to them.
“It is hardly a guarded secret that separatists take cue from Pakistan but matter of the fact is that even so called mainstream political parties of the Valley are also apologetical to the neighbouring country,” he said while talking to media persons, here today in response to a query on Mirwaiz Umar Farooq’s telephonic talks with Pakistan Minister.
The Union Minister alleged that these so called mainstream leaders of the Valley always tend to speak in the language, which is music to Pakistan and anti-India in character for keeping their master across the border in good humour.

“They are prompt to be critical to New Delhi for even petty issues but find no fault with Pakistan, which has had been exporting and abetting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir for the last three decades,” he said and added that people of the State were now no more ready to trust these elements, who had been exploiting the innocent masses for their political motives.
Expressing optimism over the improving scenario, Dr Jitendra Singh reiterated that youth of Kashmir had joined the path of development, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which was evident from the performance and success rate of candidates from militancy infested areas of Valley at UPSC, IIT, NIT, etc. “This is the third generation of youth post-independence, most of them born after 1990, who are well-informed and fully prepared to make the best use of the new avenues and opportunities for their better future ,” he maintained and also predicted the rout of forces, which had been managing to capture power by taking advantage of political vaccum in Kashmir Valley because of the turmoil.
Highlighting the achievements of Modi-led NDA Government in the last more than four year, the Union Minister informed that developmental projects worth Rs 45 thousands crores would be started by the Prime Minister during his scheduled visit to Jammu and Kashmir on February 3.
“A number of these projects, including Shahpur Kandi Project, Devika Rejuvination Plan, Rettle project of Kishtwar etc are in addition to the Prime Minister’s 88 thousand crore package announced for Jammu and Kashmir,” he added and stressed that PM Modi has always given special attention to Jammu and Kashmir, which was visited by him around a dozen times.
