JAMMU, Nov 5: J&K Innovative Foundation for Transforming Society (JKIFTS) Director, Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo today met Chairperson Nirbhay Bharat Foundation (NBF), Tarun Uppal and discussed key issues on youth development and innovation and stressed on the need to address them.
Heads of the two organizations discussed issues like youth empowerment, development, education and need to bring various innovative initiatives in J&K to explore the talent of youth in various fields at national and international level.
Another issue discussed was that of drug addiction and the heads of two organizations agreed to work together in eradicating the evil of drug addiction from the society by launching a well-organized drug de-addiction programme.
The meeting concluded with a felicitation ceremony wherein Dr Itoo was felicitated by NBF for his services as a doctor in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
