Dr Gulshan’s book released

JAMMU, Dec 29: A book of collection of Punjabi poetry titled “Mein Ton Mein Tak’ and written by Dr G S Gulshan, a well known Punjabi writer of J&K, was released here today.
The programme started with an address of  Ajit Singh Mastana. He threw light on the life of  Dr Gulshan. He said that the family members of Dr Gulshan decided to celebrate the first death anniversary by publishing and releasing his poetry book.
Dr GS Gulshan has critically analyzed the developments in Punjabi literature of J&K and got published many Punjabi books to his credit. These include six short story books, two novels, three volumes of J&K Punjabi Sahit Da Ithas, Punjabi Lok Waaran etc. He has been recipient of Best Book Award by J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages.
Kanwal Kashmiri, one of the prominent Punjabi literary figures praised Dr Gulshan’s contribution in Punjabi literature. He also told said that  Dr Gulshan worked very hard in his life. Popinder Singh Paras, editor Shiraza (Punjabi) also spoke on this occasion. He said that Dr Gulshan’s death is a big loss in the field of Punjabi literature.
Among others present on the occasion included Dr Monojit, Dr Baljeet Raina, Daleep Singh Deepak and Suraj Singh Suraj.
