JAMMU, Sept 27: Mrs Janak Goel, wife of Dr RK Goel, prominent Pediatrician and former Director Health Services, Jammu, passed away this morning at her residence near Old University Campus, Canal Road after brief illness.
She was 68 and is survived by her husband, Dr RK Goel, three daughters and three sons-in-law.
The end came at 6 am today. Dr Goel and other family members were at the side of Mrs Janak Goel when she breathed her lost.
She was cremated at Jogi Gate cremation ground at 2 pm today.
A large number of prominent persons from all walks of life including leading doctors, political leaders, businessmen, police and civil officers among others attended last rites of Mrs Goel and prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
