POONCH, Mar 21: National Conference legislator Dr Shehnaz Ganai has issued appeal to the people from Poonch area to vote for Cong-NC coalition candidate, Madan Lal Sharma, contesting from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat.
Addressing public meetings at Degwar, Khari Karmara and Gulpur villages in Poonch today, the National Conference MLC said that voting for `coalition candidate’ means, vote for development and good governance. She said that coalition stands for unity, peace and stability of all the regions of the State and asked people to remain vigilant against those who want to divide them in the name of religion, region and caste.
The NC leader further asked the people to remain vigilant from such elements and support coalition candidate fully in the interest of the State. She said only present regime can ensure better development in the State and especially in the rural and far flung areas. The present regime during last five years has taken revolutionary steps which have brought sea change in the day today life of the common masses at grass root level, she added.
