Dr Darakhshan takes up J&K issues with Modi

NEW DELHI,  July 5: Chairperson of Waqf Development Committee of Union Ministry of Minority Affairs and State vice president of Bharatiya Janata Party,  Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today called on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his office at New Delhi and discussed various issues with regard to the recent developments in J&K State.
Dr Andrabi apprised the Prime Minister of the current political situation in Jammu and  Kashmir and presented her feedback on the implementation of the Centrally Sponsored Schemes in different areas of the State. She also apprised the PM of some vital issues regarding ensuring balanced development and proper participation of the people from every section of society, every region and sub-region of the State. There was need to remove alienation among the people and also ensure equal justice to all.
Dr Andrabi also presented her views on the present security situation in J&K. She extended gratitude to the Prime Minister for his mega economic package for J&K State and Centre’s interest in the economic and infrastructural development of the state.
She also projected some vital issues with regard to the Jammu and Kashmir, focussing on some points  with the suggestions to bring improvement in the present security scenario and  over all law and order situation especially in Kashmir valley.
Prime Minister told Dr Darakhshan that the Central Government was committed to ensure the proper implementation of the Central packages at the ground level in J&K so that the impact of the development initiatives reaches to the last person in the State and also ensure equal justice to the people from every region of the State.
