JAMMU, July 22: Authorities today appointed HoD Biochemistry, Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu Dr A S Bhatia as new Controller Examination of Paramedical Council for Jammu division.
An order to this effect was issued by Principal, Dean and Vice President of Paramedical Council Jammu, Dr Ganshyam Dev Gupta.
Dr Bhatia has been entrusted with the job to conduct paramedical examination for the session 2013-14, which would commence from August 4 and last till August 9.
Dr Bhatia disclosed that about 8000 paramedical students will appear in the exams. He said entire Jammu division has been divided into six segments at Poonch, Rajouri, Kathua, Jammu, Udhampur and Doda with the examination centre at district headquarters. The examination will be conducted under the surveillance of observers appointed by the Paramedical Council.
Dr Bhatia disclosed that students of various disciplines like FMPHW, GNM, D-Pharma, Ophthalmic Assistant, Theatre Technicians, Physiotherapy, Sanitary Inspector, Dental Hygienist, Anesthesia Technician, Medical Assistants, Lab Assistants, X-Ray Technicians will be appearing for the examinations.
Dr Bhatia said that smooth and fair conduct of examination will be his priority.
