JAMMU, Oct 12: Medical Superintendent, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Dr L D Bhagat was awarded by the Government for his selfless duty as COVID warrior and for his distinguished service.
“Thank you for all that you do! You are the real hero of this Union Territory and we value every single effort to save every life during these challenging times. Your courage and strength are greatly appreciated,” said Atal Dulloo, Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education Department, in an Award-cum-Certificate of Appreciation to Dr Bhagat.
Pertinent to mention here that Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar has conducted 99 cessation sections and 19 normal deliveries on COVID patients so far under the guidance of Dr Bhagat. Besides, 127 dialysis sessions were done on COVID pts and 11 major surgeries were also done during the pandemic.
