JAMMU, Sept 15: Moved by massive loss of life and property due to devastating floods in the J&K and responding to the call by Prime Minister and Excelsior for generous donations, Dr Tariq Azad, Prof of Surgery, Head of Emergency Medicine, Government Medical College and erstwhile President Medical Teachers Association Jammu Jammu today presented a cheque of Rs 1 lakh for Prime Minister’s Relief Fund (PMRF) through Excelsior.
He has also pledged an amount of Rs 5000 from his salary regularly for PMRF.
Dr Azad appealed to his colleges and fellow professional working within the State, outside the State and outside the Country to donate generously towards PMRF.
