Srinagar, Feb 1: As the term of the Principal SKIMS Medical College and Hospital, Bemina Dr Reyaz Untoo ended, the Director SKIMS, Dr A G Ahangar has taken over as the Principal of the SKIMS, MC&H, Bemina.
“Consequent upon the retirement of Dr Reyaz Ahmad Untoo I/C Principal and Professor & Head Department of Ophthalmology, SKIMS Medical College, Bemina on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.01.2021, Prof A.G. Ahanger, Director SKIMS & Ex-Officio Secretary to Government has taken over the charge of Principal, SKIMS Medical College-Hospital, Bemina with immediate effect,” reads a notice issued by the administrative officer, SKIMS Medical College, Bemina.
Dr Ahangar will also be chairing a meeting of all the Faculty Members and other officers on February 2 (Tuesday).
“The Director SKIMS has desired to convene a meeting of all Faculty members including Incharge HoDs/Sectional Heads of all the Departments on 02.02.2021 at 10.00 AM sharp…” the notice read, adding that “…Every Faculty member including HoDs/ Incharge HoDs/ Sectional Heads shall ensure to be seated at 9:45 AM sharp.”
