JAMMU: Minister for R&B and Parliamentary Affairs Abdul Rehman Veeri informed the house that DPR of Rs 2.35 crore is under formulation for construction of a bridge over Nallah Hardiyan on Gabra Tadd road in Karnah.
Replying to a question by Javaid Ahmad Mirchal in the upper house today, the Minister said that as soon as the DPR is received, the department will explore the possibility of posing it under any appropriate program/scheme for assured funding.
The Minister said that actual nomenclature of the road is Dett Bridge to Mundiyan road. He said the up-gradation of the said road was taken up during last fiscal and Rs 24.19 Lakh has been released/utilized on it. He said the road has been upgraded by way of River Bed Material.
