JAMMU, Aug 29: Minister for Cooperatives and Ladakh Affairs Chering Dorjay today launched the official website of Jammu Central Cooperative Bank (JCCB) Ltd and inaugurated the revamped training centre of the bank at its Parade branch.
Appreciating the present Board of Administrators headed by the chairperson Anuradha Gupta, who is also Additional District Development Commissioner, Jammu for taking several innovative steps in the bank in a short period of three months, he pointed out that the results of the efforts made by the bank are visible with recovery of NPAs worth Rs 1.10 crore.

While addressing the gathering, he also assured that within next two months, State Government is expected to release the recapitalization package of Jammu Central Cooperative Bank along with two more District Central Cooperative Banks in J&K.
The Minister for Cooperatives stressed that the revamped training centre will cater to the need for effective and regular training of the bank officials which is essential for bringing professionalism in their working. He also launched the bank’s official website and stressed for bringing the bank on the CBS (Core Banking Solution) platform soon.
Earlier, Chairperson of JCC Bank informed that the priority of the Board of Administrators is the implementation of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which included NPA management, bringing the bank on CBS platform in shortest possible time and cadre management through effective HRD policies.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr Ranjeet Kotwal, Member Board of Administrator who listed financial parameters of the bank and highlighted achievements of the bank in last three months.
Meanwhile, Minister for Co-operative & Ladakh Affairs today visited the Super Bazar Complex and took stock of its activities.
ADDC, Anuradha Gupta who is also administrator of Super Bazar along with its GM Kapil Deol accompanied the Minister.
The Minister directed the concerned to undertake enhanced advertising and marketing which can prove beneficial in bringing more people to the stores. It was decided that in near future a website will be launched along with a Mobile App by the name of Super Bazar, which can have far reaching consequences in terms of connecting people with the co-operatives.
The Minister assured the management of Super Bazar that he would take up all the issues and bottlenecks with the concerned quarters and would make efforts to resolve at the earliest. He also assured that face-lifting of Super Bazar complex would be taken on priority and funds for the purpose would be provided shortly.
