JAMMU, Sept 17: With an aim to help needy, Doon International School, Jammu contributed Rs 85,000 to HelpAge India.
The draft in favour of ‘HelpAge India’ was presented by the Managing Director of ‘Gold Advertisers’ Ashwani Sharma to the State Manager of ‘Helpage India’, Sunita Santoshi in the school premises.
Chairman of the school, GN Tantray and the Principal Dr Vikesh Kaur lauded the effort of the students in collecting and contributing magnanimously and displaying their social and moral sensitivity towards the service of the society especially the elderly people.
Principal Dr Vikesh Kaur promised an unconditional support from DIS family to ‘Helpage India’ for promoting their amazing initiative which is an inspiration for the tender minds of the children to become the real contributors of the society.
