Donations continue to pour in for fight against COVID-19

JAMMU, May 9: To assist the UT Administration in its fight against COVID-19, Padmaja Chandru, MD and CEO, Indian Bank, today presented a demand draft of Rs 5 lakh to Farooq Khan, Advisor to LG, J&K. Sandeep Bhargava, Chief Manager, Bahu Plaza Branch Jammu, Arun Sharma Chief Manager Residency Road Branch (Jammu) and Arun Saini Manager Gandhi Nagar Branch (Jammu) were also present on the occasion.
BJP leader and Chairman, housing Committee for framing building schemes and plan for Jammu City, Rajinder Sharma along with his team members-Atul Sharma (BJYM), Rakesh Kumar (Ward president) and Binnu (Booth president) handed over a cheque of Rs 51000 to party general secretary (organization), Ashok Koul for PM CARES Fund.
Muslim Community Reasi donated a sum of Rs 51000 to District Administration Reasi for relief operations during lockdown. The amount was donated through a cheque which was presented by Mohd Server Mir (Advocate) and Mohd Ramzan (Counselor Ward number 7, Reasi) to Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib.
