Donation of organs

Sir,
Life is a beautiful gift from God and it is our first and foremost duty to live life in a proper and healthy manner and for this purpose, it is imperative that we maintain good health and live according to the laws of nature. But sometimes, it so happens that  despite our best efforts,we fail to keep good health and fall ill.In some severe cases of illness, our vital organs are affected to such an extent that there is need to replace them.It is here that the donation of healthy organs for transplantation assumes significance. Saving the life of a human being or even an animal is considered to be a pious act perhaps in all the religions as life is a divine gift. With the advancement in Medical Science and discovery of new medicines and vaccines, many lives of humans and animals can be saved now.
One breakthrough in the medical science is the transplantation of some vital  organs in the bodies of those who need them for their survival. Many human organs and tissues such as eyes, liver, heart, lungs, kidneys, skin, etc can be transplanted during life or within a few hours after death to save the lives of patients.
Therefore, the people ought to come forward and pledge to donate  their transplantable organs after death so the life of the needy patients, who die because of the lack of these organs can be saved. They should, in fact, donate  their organs to live after death through the human beings who survive because of their donated organs. To save the life of a person is the most pious act in the world and everybody ought to reap this act .But at the same time, people  should not be allowed to  indulge in organs trade or donate organs under compulsion  but they should donate transplantable organs and tissues of their free will without any monetary considerations and those indulging in this illegal trade need to be severely punished under law.
Yours etc….
