JAMMU, Jan 18: Dolly Tiku Arrwal, a poetess from Jammu & Kashmir has been awarded with ‘Sahodari Saman’ during 9th International Conference by the President Mauritius, Prithvi Jagannathen.
The international conference was organised at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Mauritius in collaboration with Basha Sahodari Hindi on January 10 to 11 and was awarded with this prestigious award.
President Mauritius, Prithvi Jagannathen was the chief guest and he gave the souvenir to her during the conference.
It is pertinent to mention here that she wrote extensively on Kashmiri poetry, Afsanas, Gazals and presented various papers on Sufism.
