SRINAGAR, May 31: IPS officer of 1986 batch and Additional Director General of Police Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF, D Rani Doley Barman has been appointed as Director, North East Police Academy on deputation basis.
According to the order issued by Principal Secretary, Home Department, Suresh Kumar, the services of Mrs Doley have been placed at the disposal of Ministry of Home Affairs for her appointment as Director, North East Police Academy on deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of taking over the charge of the post or until the further orders.
S M Sahai, ADGP Armed will hold the charge of the post of ADGP Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF in addition to his own duties till further orders.
