JAMMU, Sept 12: A book translated entitled “Zurrat Vaigyanak Spiritualism Di Batte Par Chalne Di’’ written by Shashank Kulkarni and translated by Dr Rattan Basotra, was released in the office of Dr. Arvindr Singh Aman, Additional Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Cultural Academy (JKCA), here today.
The program was presided over by Dr Arvinder Singh Aman, Additional Secretary, J&K Cultural Academy. The chief guest of this program was the distinguished literature of Dogri, Yashpaul Nirmal.
Speaking on occasion, Dr Aman said that this translation into Dogri literature by Ratan Basotra would enrich the world. Through this book, there is inspiration to combine science and spirituality, which is relevant in today’s time.
Expressing his views, Yashpal Nirmal said that there is a great need to think about this subject and understand its relevance in the present times. He further said that Marathi literature is coming into Dogri through this book and it will further strengthen the relationship between the two languages.
Rita Rani Khadtal, Assistant Editor Dogri said that in future also there is a need to get good books of different languages translated into Dogri.
Shashank Kulkarni, the author of the book said that it is a matter of great pleasure for me to get my book translated into Dogri. Dogri speakers of this medium will also think more seriously to connect science and spirituality.

This original Marathi book has been translated by Dr. Ratna Basotra, Editor of Jammu Kashmir Cultural Academy and Sahitya Akademi Award winning Dogri author.
